Lumiere Studio Case Study
Lumiere Studio is a multi-disciplinary art and design studio that specializes in lighting design. It was founded in 2014 by Lumiere Group. The goal was to create a minimalist, clean identity. Only two colors were used: dark blue and silver. Everything is printed on Ispira saggezza and Ispira purezza by Fedrigoni, Italy. Ispira uncoated papers and boards that have a soft velvety surface, allowing for a pleasent effect and high printing performances. The logo is foil stamped and embossed.

Lumiere Group worked with Lebanon’s Academie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts to launch a lighting competition for interior architecture students. Candidates were instructed to develop a lighting design for an apartment. The winner of the top prize for the challenge

The concept of the logo was to make the two words look like they are integrated together. Later on the business card was designed by using a metallic blue, printed on a coated 390gr paper with a matt silk lamination and spot uv varnish on the logo.

Top chef is a catering company based in mansourieh, lebanon. The task was to develop a brochure that "Top Chef Catering" could leave with perspective clients. The brochure highlights different catering options, offers some sample menus, and uses appetizing photography.

Joe Nasr is a developer who owns a construction company. He needed a logo that would represent him. Due to the quality of his work, his initials were designed in a squarish geometric shape. It was later on printed on a 430gr black sirio. The logo is foil stamped and debased.

The name is a tribute to Lama's father. They are three sisters, all with names starting with an "L". He wanted to name his sewing showroom 3L before passing away. Lama made it happen. The logo was designed with an emphasis on the number 3 and its position in the middle, surrounded by two wings. The number 3 is the representation of the 3 sisters surrounded by their father's wings.

The couple were getting married in July. They wanted a simple invitation with a certain flower. With a little bit of research, we found out that July's birth flower is the larkspur, which symbolizes feelings of an open heart and ardent attachment. The flower was then traced in a geometric shape where their names were intersected with the flower.

Maria Nalbandian is an Armenian singer who was born and raised in beirut, Lebanon. This album "Mi Eraz" (A dream) is her first album in her native armenian language. The logo and album were designed in both english and armenian keeping it as minimal as possible.

Both William and Victoria are royal names. The concept was to emphasize this by the use of the crown as well as the calligraphy font and the pastel

    Other than prints they did not post any work beside it. But there was something interesting facts in their website. There are five different categories of prints they offer: Art, Gig, Dave Matthews, Tea Towels, and Greeting Cards. In Art Print section, they posted all kinds of screen prints. Some of them have completely straight lines with neat illustration that looks like they were done by computer and some of them looks cozy that it literally seems to be done by hands. In Gig section, all of the prints have unusual titles, such as “Blitzen Trapper – Truth” or “Lorde –Bottle.” Gig prints are the pieces that Mark and Robert made by the inspiration by the bands around the world. Because of that fact, the prints look completely different from any other sections. The colors are much more vibrant and colorful, and the illustration looks expressive by the title or the mood of the band. I never heard of the most of the bands in Gig Prints, but I was able to see what kinds of music and album each of them makes. Dave Matthews section seems to have a similar look like in Gig Prints, and that is because it is an American band called DMB.
