It is important to get the correct angle whilst passing a ball as it gives you a higher chance of hitting your desired target, you need to preferably be looking in the direction you are going to be passing in to, also you need to have enough room to swing your leg back and kick through the ball. Your non-kicking foot needs to be flatly placed on the surface next to the ball with it facing the direction you wish the ball to go. The contact of the ball and which part of the foot you kick with is totally dependent on what type of pass you are planning on doing.
