London’s Italian flavour – Little Italy
Little Italy or the Italian quarters are the name given to the place in central London, which has been a habitat for the Italians who take a journey to come to this city. Have a look at the map and you are sure to find a triangle that marks Little Italy it is recognised by the boundaries of Rosebery Avenue Clerkenwell Road and Farringdon Road, when you point out in the middle of the map that’s where the immigrants and people coming down from Italy stay. The famous novelist Charles Dickens had a mention of this place also called saffron hill in his favourite novel ‘Oliver Twist’, the road was full of filth and dirt and was nothing near posh. This side of London is very Italian by Italian I mean the place speaks about great taste in terms of food, designer wear and even theatre. Creative hub of London wherein we can see a very hippie culture from tattoos to piercings and other artistic, emotional overtures, it also upholds the reputation of being the coolest and the most chic places there are lanes with architecture studios that are the innovators and mix the English and Italian style to bring out the best.
