Lincoln, Sr. He was known as one of the richest people, and the furniture overseer in the town of Marion. After all, it had been one of Lincoln’s widest and unachieved goals: to propose a majestic theatre that would be an attraction to all. Unfortunately, that thought never became a reality for Lincoln. Meanwhile, Charles C. Lincoln passed away of pneumonia, and never lived to see his goals, hopes, and dreams come true (Lincoln Theatre History 2).
Long after Charles had passed on, this theatre was being completed by his two sons, of whom were Charles C. Lincoln Jr., and John D. Lincoln. The boys had developed their father’s traits and abilities, completing the theatre at last. Lincoln would have been in awe of the marvelous work they had brought about.
