Lilly Singh Research Paper
The person who most inspires me is Lilly Singh. Lilly Singh is a twenty-seven-year old Canadian woman of Indian descent. Five years ago, she created a YouTube channel named IISuperwomanII. Her goal was to overcome her bout with depression and to inspire others to realize their goals. Thus far, she has over seven million subscribers and optimistic. She is highly successful and her videos are a lot of fun to watch. She videos.
To create over four hundred original videos in a five-year period is remarkable. In addition to this prolific output, each of Lilly's videos is unique. Some of Lilly's most popular video series include "How Girls Get Ready," "My Parents Reacting To...," and "Types of Kids at School." Often Lilly will role

This shows her excellent work ethic and is particularly inspirational to me because through her hard work, Lilly has become one of the highest earning YouTube stars. This teaches me that if I work hard I can reap the benefits. Lilly also used her impressive work ethic to overcome her struggle with depression. Though Lilly initially wanted a YouTube channel as a means of expression to help her beat depression, she gained further inspiration once she realized that she could fill the void of representation of South Asian girls on the internet.
The battle of against depression is one that many teenagers worldwide struggle with today. To win this battle requires courage and optimism. I have learned from Lilly's example never to give up no matter how difficult the challenge. This ties into my hopes for winning the Bobby Bragan Youth Scholarship. The competition is intense, but I know that I am worthy of winning if I am honest with myself in expressing my views.
As a teenager, I often come across impressive individuals. What separates Lilly Singh for me is her outstanding character and accomplishments. I relate to her on a personal level, and the qualities that she exemplifies help me as I grow and aspire to have a similar impact on the global
