Lesson Plan for Narrative Text Authors : Harini Ambarwati, Bernadeta Elmiatra and Christinelly Marshelene Lotulung | School and Grade: SMA XXI (Semester 1) | Duration: 2 x 45 minutes | Subject : English Unit : Narative Text | Language focus : Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading. | Competency Standard : Understand the meaning and able to create both of written and oral narrative text. | Basic Competence : Respond, comment, and create the narrative text both writen and spoken text accurately, fluently, and acceptable in daily life context and to access the knowledge in the forms of narrative. | Teaching Method : 1. Lecturing Discussion (while giving material). 2. Group Interaction (while group discussing). | Assignment Activities : 1. Creating a narrative text in group 2. Analyzing the generic structure of classmates’ story 3. Listening a video of narrative text. 4. Filling in the blank narrative text. | Learning Product : Narrative text | Instructional Objectives : 1. The students will be able to listen for detail based on the listening session. 2. The students will be able to know what narrative text is. 3.
