“Special Operator Forces Language Office mission is to develop, coordinate, and execute foreign Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) policy and strategies for Joint Special Operations Forces and the SOF service components to satisfy USSOCOM validated capability requirements identified by support combatant commands and USSOCOM.” This is SOFLO’s Mission Statement which directly supports USSOCOM in all matters regarding language. They are charged to develop, validate, and execute Joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) LREC training, training delivery means, and training materials.
