In Charles Blow’s “Failing All Tests of the Presidency” (2017) he asserts his opinion that Trump is not acting as a true president and he is merely holding a place for an actual president to arrive and replace him. Blow communicates this by saying “Donald Trump is a man of flawed character and a moral cavity,” and “His interests center on the self; country be damned.” He exaggerates all of Trump’s flaws without regard to the truth that, maybe he has done something good while in office. He does this in attempts to force his hatred of Donald Trump onto others that might already not support him. Charles Blow employs his hatred of Trump and writes very controversial articles to everyone who is indifferent or not in support of Donald Trump.…

They are reintegration and evidence of moral dissenus. In Kayne’s instance both of these outcomes occurred. Reintegration is when the offender is “embraced by the community and brought back into the fold” (Winchatz). Artist John Legend posted to Instagram with his thoughts about Kanye. He stated, “First of all, Kanye is my friend. He believed in me years ago when very few did, and I wouldn't be here without his support. That doesn't mean we'll agree on everything, but it does mean that I am grateful to him” (addendum lines 64-67). John Legend says that he will always like Kanye even if he disagrees with his statements. He goes on to say, “These voters are all creators who love music and have dedicated their lives to it, and the plurality of them chose Beck as the Album of the Year. I respect their decision and congratulate Beck on this outstanding accomplishment” (addendum lines 85-88). This is an example on how Kanye was reintegrated into the music community. Even though people disagreed with him he again became welcomed and respected. In addition, many people agreed with Kanye because they thought the national voting committee ‘could be’ racist. Journalist Mercy Soriano states that, “there appears to be a trend in the Grammy's of black artists, who are expected to win awards, who find themselves losing to white artists, who are also surprised that they won”…

When viewing Mr. Trump’s voting history, it is not constant throughout the years. Born in 1946 in New York City, presidential candidate Donald Trump has never been one who quietly follow the rules. Even as an elementary student in Queens, Trump pushed the limits. According to author Andy Argyrakis, Trump’s “rambunctious behavior at The Kew-Forest School resulted in his being sent to the New York Military Academy by the age of thirteen” (Argyrakis). At the academy, Trump played football, basketball, and soccer, and succeeded academically. In 1968, after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in economics, he returned to New York and began working for his father’s real estate company managing properties in New York and later in other parts of the country. One of his best-known projects was the construction of Trump Tower, a $200 million apartment complex and shopping center. Trump is a risk taker and, as such, he has experienced both great success and great failure in the world of business. Some of his failures include Trump University and Trump Financial, his mortgage firm. In addition to his business ventures, Trump has hosted a popular reality show, co-owed the Miss…

Barack Obama, as the first black president, inspired millions of young people of minorities and showed the world that anyone can achieve when they put their mind to it. President Trump however is not a positive role model, his whole career is based on hateful rhetoric; between his racist remarks and his boasting about sexually assaulting women, there’s really not much room left for him to be the good guy. Even by Donald Trump’s standards I was astonished at his unscrupulous attack against the parents of a Muslim U.S. Army officer who died during service in the Iraq War. At the Democratic National Convention on July 28 the father of the Army Captain who died in aid of the US, Humayun Khan, stood with his grieving wife and conveyed his thoughts on Trump’s bigoted rhetoric and disregard for civil liberties. Trump’s reply was ignorant and racist: “If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me.” He did not even thank the family for their service, which, as the future president shows a complete lack of respect for the lives of Muslims and black people which account for 3.3 million Americans. Surely the leader of a country founded by immigrants should represent all of the citizens of their country but obviously…
