Johnny Cash Was born February 26,1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas. “He grew up listening to his family play music,” says biography.com. Johnny Learned guitar at the age of 12. He played after that for the rest of his life. Johnny only grew from there.

In 1950 Johnny joined the air force. He was located in Landsberg, West Germany most of the time while he was in the air force. While there he formed the band “ The Landsberg Barbarians” with a few other men from the air force. Johnny wrote the song Folsom Prison Blues. “ We were terrible,” Johnny said.
