My favourite actor Johny Depp
One of the actors who made the greatest impression on me is Johnny Depp. I like his acting very much. All his characters are bright individuals. And it seems to me Johnny Depp plays them brilliantly.
Johnny Depp was born June 9, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentuky. In his young years Johnny wanted to become a musician. He even played in the band. But his musical carrier was not as successful as his actor one.
After several small roles Depp landed his first legitimate movie role in the horror film “Nightmare of Elm Street”. The film had a great success.
In 1990 Depp starred in the 50s-kitsch musical, Cry-Baby, which became a cult hit and succeeded in changing his image. At the same year Depp exhibited his versatility as an actor in the title role of Edward Scissorhands.
Johnny Depp played many interesting roles but my favorite character is Captain Jack Sparrow from the sequel Pirates of the Caribbean. In 2004 Depp earned an Academy Award nomination for his starring role as Captain Jack Sparrow.
Initially, Jack Sparrow was supposed to be a comic hero, an eternal loser who is completely sure in his irresistibility. But in the preparatory process and during the work on the film Jack’s character has changed. It happened thanks to Depp. He added to the image of Jack some features characteristic of rock musicians of the late twentieth century. No one knows if the real pirates behaved like this but playing this role Depp took an example of a few rock stars. «I’m alive!»-»I’m alive!»-is the line of one of the rock song and motto of many rockers. The same can be said about Jack Sparrow. Sense of existence, diversity of the world is perhaps the key characteristics of Jack Sparrow.
To my point of view Johnny Depp is the most fascinating actor today. I advice to watch his movies to everybody who enjoys and evaluates good acting.

Matt Dillion for example, really sold his performance as racist cop who abuses his authority. Dillon does a good job in showing how his character has a self-realization when he is pulling Thadie Newton’s character out of the burning car. She refuses his help because earlier in the movie he sexual harassed her, but Dillon’s character eventually gets her to put that aside and get her out of the fire. Dillion does an excellent job of showing how his character changed in that scene on how he should not abuse his authority on people. Another actor who did a good job was Ryan Phillippe. He played a cop who always tried to do the right thing but ends up killing a man who he thought had a gun but did not. Phillippe did a good job of showing how is character did the wrong thing when he shoots Larenz Tate’s character Peter. These two scenes show how both actors Matt Dillon and Ryan Phillippe sold their performances as a racist cop and a cop who wants to do the right…

My favorite movie character is Dr. Frank-N-Furter from the movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Frank is something of a mad scientist, bent on creating the perfect life form to serve as his sexual plaything. He seems to be the leader of the Transylvanians on Earth. Frank is mainly concerned with himself and lacks the ability to see the consequences of his behavior. Though he did bring out the sexual creatures in a young, repressed couple, he did this with his own amusement in mind. He commits murder and cannibalism without a second thought, as well as locking Eddie in a deep-freezer. (http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0010150/bio)…

Johnny Depp is one of this generation’s most talented actor. His character development is beyond compare. Johnny Depp has acted in a plethora of movies, but in Benny and Joon and some others, his physical movements are very similar to some very famous silent film actors. Johnny’s character, Sam, is an eccentric one: he’s awkward, silly, and has a very imaginative mind. Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton acted as fathers to Johnny’s acting, leading him to new ideas, more characters in his career, extreme physical movement, and more explosive entertainment. In Benny and Joon, Johnny Depp’s physical reactive, and emotional acting strongly represents Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton.…

In the trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean a young boy, Will Turner teams up with one of the most notoriously failed pirates, Captain Jack Sparrow, to find the love of his life, Elizabeth turner. Throughout the movie there are many parts where Jack Sparrow can be connected to The Trickster, by conning many people into thinking things to get what he wants. One example of Jack Sparrow embodying the mythic archetype is when he lies to Will Turner, making him believe that he is the captain of one of the most notorious ships on the sea, when in reality he was marooned on an island by his crew, however he tricked the young boy into letting him out of his jail cell, and in return he would help him find the love of his life.…

He played grown-up peter pan in Hook (1991) and played the voice for the Genie in Aladdin. He also starred as the main character in the unforgettable, Mrs. Doubtfire in 1993, where he disguises himself as an old lady so he can be the nanny of his children after separating from their mother. If I were to ask you to think of a name that best defines the role of funniest and most ridiculous person in Hollywood, I would bet that several of you would come up with the name Will Ferrell. This shouldn't come as a surprise to any of you as Ferrell has filled hilarious roles in recent years such as Buddy the elf, Ricky Bobby the racecar driver, Ron Burgandy the anchorman, Chaz Michael Michaels the figure skater, and many others. Ferrell has become a modern comical titan as he blew away Saturday Night Live with some of the best ratings in history and has developed into one of Hollywood's funniest and highest paid comical actors. With the way that he can pull off dumb humor and make people fall out of their chairs laughing time and time again, it seems that Ferrell was destined to be a comic from the start, but it wasn't always that way. Although he is now regarded as one of the funniest and highest paid comical actors in Hollywood, Ferrell's comic acting career probably spawned from a childhood hunger that for a long time, even Ferrell himself was unaware of.…
