John Fleck

Innovation makes the world go around. There are new businesses with new products. More and more entrepreneurs are popping up. In this never ending loop of inventing everyone lives. Even with all of this innovation the main goal in life is to have a comfortable life with no stress. John Fleck, the inventor and entrepreneur, has achieved this goal, “I’ve created a revenue stream that doesn’t need my attention on a daily basis.” John said as he was sipping his espresso, freshly made from his fancy espresso machine on his countertop. He sat down on a steel stool inside of his kitchen with modern decor. John explained that he “doesn’t really have a job”. Instead he spends the majority of his days doing what he wants to do, saying “I absolutely enjoy observation”. So John travels a tremendous amount. He is able to live this lifestyle because of the revenue stream that he created.

Simply put, Deflecktors are devices that fill the large hole in the wheels of big trucks and school buses. They create better air resistance, resulting in better gas mileage. He spoke with so much passion about this creation. An aura of joy came off of John as he talked about his career. Later, he explained that there was one competitor who used unethical tactics. “He found a video of me on the internet, edited it and sent it to my customers.” John said with a look of hatred on his face. He went on about how much he despises this particular competitor. With a smirk and a disrespectful chuckle he remarked, “I have a special place for my competitor.”. He tried so hard to remain optimistic about his situation. As he was talking about this unethical competitor and other hardships he has encountered in his work he explicated, “I think the process teaches.” He said that the hardships have made him a better, stronger, and happier
