Joe Robbie's 1966: The Miami Dolphins Team
The Miami Dolphins became a team in 1966. The owner of the dolphins was Joe Robbie. Over six years they went from 4-10 to 17-0.

In 1972 the Dolphins went 17-0-0 with an undefeated season. They beat the Washington Redskins 14-7 in the super bowl. That team was the only team to ever do that in NFL history.

In the first year as a team the Dolphins went 4-10. In 1969 they fired their first coach George Wilson. 1970 was the year the Dolphins had a winning season for the first time.

In the undefeated season the Dolphins largest victory was against the New England patriots where the Dolphins won 52-0. The closest game they won was against the Minnesota Vikings where the Dolphins won 16-14. Now the Dolphins had three shutouts they were against
