Many non-Christians are not familiar with Christian terminology because they have not looked into Christianity and read the Bible to understand our belief, and we as Christ’s followers must explain the Gospel in a simplified way for people who are not familiar with certain Christian terminology so they can understand the concept and become more familiar with the terminology. Within our culture the Christian gospel can be professed as misunderstanding or even as Christians portraying themselves as being above that come from other religious backgrounds. One view that is disturbing is that Christians are known to be hypocritical by saying that they are Christian but their actions show differently. In some ways these perceptions are true as some Christians specially carnal Christians have a habit of looking at the gospel where it would benefit them rather than trying encourage others to learn about the gospel.…

The Gospel of John twitches not thru Jesus' birth or worldly ministry but then through the action and features of the Son of God previously His becoming man (John 1:14). An innovation is “an idea, practice, or object that is perceived as new by an individual or another unit of adoption” (Rogers 306-3071). Is the Gospel an innovation or is it an ongoing active work of the Holy Spirit in an individual or cultural unit that we participate in by being bearers of the revelatory word of God through the redemptive message of Jesus Christ? While the prevenient grace of God is always active and at work drawing sinners to God through Christ, there are some aspects of diffusion theory and framing the Gospel as an innovation that can be helpful to us as we bring the message to those not trusting in Christ for salvation. The key to using the term innovation when applying diffusion theory to the transmission of the Gospel lies in (1) presenting it as something that may be perceived as new in regard to the revelation of God but not foreign or alien and (2) by not embracing the science of diffusion theory as a strategy for mission outside the work and influence of the Holy Spirit. Rather, we take the useful components of diffusion theory and apply them with discernment from God to our work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the earth.…

The Christian gospel is perceived in our culture as “confusion” or that Christians consider themselves to be greater than people of other religions. The one that bothers me is that Christians are hypocrites and that Christians say one thing and do another. Some of the perception are well grounded because Christians, especially carnal Christians have a tendency to package the gospel in a way that would benefit them instead of bringing others to inquire about the word of God.…

Some specific emotional reasons people reject the gospel is because they lose someone close to them in life. They feel angry and bitter with God, and do not believe in his word. They view the death as an insulting action towards them, instead of their loved one being in paradise. Another emotional reason people reject the gospel is because something tragic has happened to them. My friend was in a terrible car accident and she is mad at God because she was finally moving forward in life, she had one semester of school left and a good job going for her, and bam, she was lucky to live and cannot do anything until she can recover. She blames God for this happening to her and is upset beyond belief with God.…
