Jesse Owens: Field Athlete
“We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort,” by Jesse Owens. Jesse was one of the most famous black athletes. Owens was a track and field athlete that didn’t get to the top easy he worked hard everyday of his life to get where he is.
Jesse’s maiden name is James Cleveland Owens, he was born in Alabama on September
12, 1913. Jesse is the seventh child of all 12 siblings. When Owens was nine they moved to Ohio where he attended high school as well as college. While his siblings worked all day in cotton fields his parents tried to keep him healthy and in shape.

High School in Cleveland, where he worked as a teacher and a coach. He had realized how good of a runner he was and how dedicated he was to be successful, he took him under his wing and worked early mornings and late nights with him. He taught him how to run faster and how to bring his all, to never quit even though it's hurt like a million needles
Jesse Owens was one of the best olympic and athletic star in track and field. Jesse had broken all the records in middle school and high school. When he got out of high school he went to college at Ohio State University and broke 42 records there in four in the NCAA
Championships, two in the AAU Championships and three at the Olympic Trials (Jesse). Owens was one of the first black people to become a captain which shock everyone because black were not like very much and were treated badly.
Owens performance at 1936 Berlin Olympics has become legend, both for his brilliant gold-medal efforts in the 100-meter run was 10.3 seconds, the 200-meter run 20.7 second(About). Three years after breaking his wrist, he failed another drug test, and after rehabilitation, rejoined the team and graduated.
