Is Google Making USupid: Should Students Become An Addiction?

“Smack!!” the sound a test makes as it lands on the desk reading “ 52, put your phone away, you’ll do better”. Our school should participate in the National Shut Down Your Screen Week so students will think, becoming an a addiction, and missing out on life. Put our screens up would make student use their thinking cap. In “ Is Google Making Us Stupid” paragraph 2, lines 2-3, it states “ What really makes us intelligent isn’t our ability to find lots of information quickly. It’s our ability to think deeply about the information” Google may give the answer in seconds, but a thought that counts for you to remember the information. Also in “ls Google Making Us Stupid” paragraph 7, line 1 “ If you're really interested in developing your mind you should turn off your computer and your cell phone - and start - thinking. If you want to develop your brain start thinking and not taking the easy way out.
I, myself have a problem with playing my game for excessive of hours, but it keeps me focused on just school and my game. Its an addiction, but a good one. In “ Attached to Technology and Paying a Price” paragraph 45, line 1 “ When I study a little voice would be saying “look up” at the computer and i’d look up.” If you hearing voices about your screen you need a break from it that’s not normal. Also in “ Attached to Technology and Paying a Price’’ paragraph 4, line4 says” the stimulation provokes excitement- a dopamine squirt that researchers say can be addictive.” We don’t need to get addicted to our screens cause us to get lazy and rely on them too
