A critical thinker is a person who can understand logical connections, identify the relevance and importance of ideas, and reflect on their own beliefs. Critical thinking is not just about collecting information, a person who memorizes a lot of things is not necessarily a critical thinker. A person who can think critically knows how to make use of information to solve problems. Critical thinking is self-directed, self-disciplined, self-monitored, and self-corrective way of thinking. People who think critically constantly attempt to live realistically and reasonably. They attempt never to think simplistically about complicated issues and always contemplate the rights and needs of others. They recognize the intricacies in evolving as thinkers
