There are lots of popular cultures but the most in trend and the most with the high need is cell phone which has to be smart phone. It has been now 40 years since the first cell phone was used. In 1973 Martin Cooper of Motorola used a first wireless cell phone to make a call walking down street of New York City to his rival Joel Engel head of Bell Labs. Motorola Dynatac was only able to make a phone call and its battery would last 20 minutes and needed 10 hours to charge. Personally I think people would have benefited from Dynatac while making a call because it would have also helped us to do some works out after all it weighed 2.5 pounds. Now if we compare the weight of an iPhone 5, 3.95 ounces to that of Dynatac we can see enormous accomplishment made by the cell phone. The iPhone is a multimedia enabled smart phone designed, manufactured and marketed by Apple Inc. The first of its kind was introduced in early 2007 and since then it has gained great popularity among its users. Apple Inc. describes iPhone as combination of three features Mobile phone, I-pod and a wireless communication device. The smartphone has a variety of complex and advanced functionalities and its use has always left the users delighted. Cell phone when first was available for public it cost $3995 and the only option available

was voice communication. These days it comes with lots of other feature and the price ranges from $400 to $700. We have message, email, face time and lots of other application which allows us to communicate without having to pay extra money. I will begin with providing a little background information on the first man made mobile phone. The first mobile cell phone manufactured by Motorola was designed and created by a man named Martin Cooper in 1983. Although the phone itself only offered 30 minutes of actual talk time per day you can imagine the excitement overcome by society. Despite how excited people were, you had to be considerably wealthy and able to purchase one since the phone itself was first put on the market for 3,995 dollars.…

Carriers of this phone enjoy the benefit of being able to sell higher cost plans that use more data and features and enjoy the prestige that follows the phone. To be without a cell phone is to be in the Stone Age. To have any other phone but the I-phone is to be in the Dark Ages. (Hauk,…

History is replete with examples of new products and technologies that may initially meet with enthusiasm but later reveal unanticipated negative consequences later on. As usage of information and communication technologies has soared over the past decade, social critics have worried about our seeming inability to disconnect. Cell phones use has increased in the past years because now it is really easy and economical to have one. Year into year cell phones become easier to use and more things have been added to make them capable of doing just about anything we want them to do. Today, except making and receiving calls and also texting messages, we can do a lot of interesting things with them. For example we can listen to music, record voice notes, make video clips, play games, take pictures, and access the internet and many other things. One of the most technologically pervasive influences over the past decade has been the mobile phone. Mobile phone emerged as one of the defining technologies of our time and is having an impact on society in terms of creating an informative, connected, culturally innovative, participative, and converging society and on personal life of users in many ways including time use, privacy emancipation, safety, individuality, status and confidence, competence in…

Smart phone, no technology in general, affect not just the younger generation but even the older generation. In “ A Baseline Definition of Culture A recent etymology of the word "culture,”” Eric Miraglia, Dr. Richard Law, and Peg Collins said that culture is learned, that “culture, as a body of learned behaviors common to a given human society, acts rather like a template (ie. it has predictable form and content), shaping behavior and consciousness within a human society from generation to generation (paragraph 5).” With the continuous advancements in technology, if the older generation does not become well versed the new gadgets, especially the smart phone, they are unable to perform in society. Smart phones are required in business as means of communications. For example, my father, who works in real estate, says without his iPhone, he would be completely lost and disabled because all his clients and their data are saved on his phone. The smart phone helps people drive to their destination with its navigation features and even helps catalog ones lives with the camera features. Smart phones affect everybody not just the young people but every…

The IPhone is an amazing gadget made by Apple. When you get an IPhone you will not want to use any other phone. It is a phone, computer, and MP3 player all wrapped up in one little small package. Steve Jobs believed that cell phones were going become important devices for portable information. The original IPhone came out in January 9, 2007. Steve Jobs presented one of the most incredible presentations of his life, “a life filled with incredible keynotes” and in the history of consumer electronics. It was hard to believe that this extraordinarily device could be used as a full featured phone and a media player. When Apple raised the bar they not only created the IPhone, they also created the IPod and the IPad. The list goes on and on. What it boils down to is that no other phone company can beat Apple. The down side of that is that the IPhone wasn’t universally adored. But that didn’t matter because Apple wasn’t making a phone that was smart they had made a PC that could make calls. By June of 2008, the original IPhone was discontinued. But by then the sale of the IPhone had reached over 6 million units.…
