As one of the largest computer systems companies, Dell pioneered the concept of selling personal computers direct to customers with it’s build-to-order manufacturing system. Looking specifically at Dell’s working capital competitive advantage, several aspects put Dell ahead of the curve. Another advantage of orders manufactured on demand is that it allows Dell to quickly adapt and change when unexpected events arise such as product defects.…

I am prepared to be an RRASC intern because I finally understand that advocacy is fluid. At first, I was mistaken to believe that my advocation for justice must be limited to the intersections I stand at in the world. I am black and I am woman, so naturally I fought for causes that benefited the communities I identified with. However, after an epiphany of sorts, I came to the reality that true advocacy must never be selfishly motivated and now I understand that the people’s freedom is tied in each oppressed individual recognizing that their freedom is tied to the freedom of their oppressed brothers and sisters. I believe that RRASC holds that same vision of a unified freedom because it encompasses reproductive…

Bang! The gun rang throughout the glistening Olympic stadium in Sydney. Marion Jones claimed her first gold in the 100m dash. After the exciting two week competition ended, three gold medals and two bronze medals glimmered around the neck of the beautiful and gifted athlete, Marion Jones. Everything seemed to click that year for the three-time Olympic champion, but her tremendous performances led critics to question whether she had used performance-enhancing drugs.
