Informative Speech On George Biggie
A lot of us are still chanting “Biggie, Biggie, Biggie can't you see, some times your words just hypnotize me. I just love your flashy ways...guess that's why they broke and you're so paid.” Yes, indeed. He was after all, “The Notorious B. I. G.”, an “American hip-hop star.”

Born Christopher George Latore Wallace on this very day, May 21 back in 1972. He's from the Bedford-Stuyvesant 'hood which is located in Brooklyn, NY. Being from the “hood,” and especially in NY, he wasn't born with a silver spoon or a gold plate in his mouth. He had to hustle for his bread and to him “hustlers were his heroes.” His “heroes” however, were drug dealers... major drug dealers. By the time he was 17, Biggie had been arrested for selling crack cocaine and he served nine months in prison because of it. But one day, he started making music. This is how Biggie became a hero for many like him so, I want to tell you about that.

He coined himself “Biggie Smalls” and was eventually found by Mister Cee. Mister Cee was a popular DJ and featured Biggie in The Source magazine. The article was well publicized and it caught an Uptown Entertainment producer's attention. At that time, it was Sean “Puffy” Combs. You should already know that Puffy brought Biggie to Bad Boy Entertainment with him after he left Uptown. He then changed his name and became "The Notorious B.I.G.

In 1993, he did a remix of Mary J Blige's single, “Real Love” and “What's the 411.” A year later, he released Ready to Die. Ready to Die was mainly a focus on his life story. That was when “Juicy” and “Big Poppa” came out. Man... that was the joint. His records went platinum and that was the start of big things for this huge young rapper. Biggie stood 6 feet 3 inches and weighed close to 300-400

Tupac was associated with the West Coast, whereas Biggie Smalls was associated with the East Coast. They were on good terms, until Tupac got shot five times in a Manhattan Recording Studio. He suspected Biggie Smalls and Sean Combs aka Puff Daddy were behind the shooting. Sean Combs was the head of Bad Boy Records which was the label Biggie Smalls signed with. As soon as Tupac got shot, he signed with Death Row Records a west coast label. The head of Death Row Records known as Suge Knight had a grudge against Sean Combs, which turned into “dangerous vendetta between the east and west coast factions, stoked by lyrical provocations from Biggie and Tupac”. Two years later after Tupac died, Biggie also died and these deaths could have been caused and connected by the feud, for Biggie Smalls death being an act of revenge for Tupac’s…
