Title : The top 10 food that a foreigner must try in Malaysia.

General Purpose : To inform the audience of what food that a foreigner must try in Malaysia.

Specific Purpose : Top 10 food that a foreigner must try in certain states in Malaysia.

Thesis Statement : This speech will inform the audience of why a foreigner must try all these top 10 food items in Malaysia.

Introduction : Give a brief idea of the top 10 food in Malaysia.

Malaysia is a multicultural society of which the population is made up by different types of ethnic groups which includes Malays, Chinese, Indians and the Natives. In Malaysia, there are many varieties of food that a foreigner can choose. Here are the top 10 Malaysian food that a foreigner must try.

Body : State all the top 10 food that a foreigner must try in Malaysia and the reasons.

1. Satay
Satay or much well known as Malaysia’s signature dish is a skewered chicken or beef grilled over charcoal fire. The meat consists of thick juicy flavour which is savoured with a tasty peanut dip, rice cubes as well as fresh slices of onion and cucumber.
Satay can be found throughout all the states of Malaysia in restaurants and on the streets and Pasar Malam. While the popular kinds of satay are usually beef and chicken, different regions of Malaysia have developed their own unique variations. Satay is often associated with Muslim Malays. The well known satay outlets are in Kajang, Selangor which is dubbed the Satay City in the country.

2. Nasi Lemak
