CHAPTER ONE - INTRODUCTION 1.1 PURPOSE OF INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT
The Industrial Attachment program also known as Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) fulfills part of the requirement in pursuing the degree of Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) in the Redeemer’s University. This is a training that should last for a minimum of six months. It is intended to expose student to the real life working experience. 1.2.1 OBJECTIVES OF SIWES
The objectives of SIWES are: * To provide an avenue for students in Institutions of Higher Learning to acquire industrial skills and experience in their course of study * To prepare students for the working situation they are to meet after graduation * To expose students to work methods and techniques in handling equipment and machinery that may not be available in educational institutions. * To provide students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge in real work situation thereby bridging the gap between university work and actual practice.

1.2 ATTACHED COMPANY- CYBERSPACE NETWORK LTD 1.2.1 COMPANY’S PROFILE
Cyberspace Network Limited was incorporated in the year 1995 but started fully in the year 1999. The major areas of operation at Cyberspace Network Ltd are Internet Service Providing and Software Solutions (majorly Edu-portals).
Presently, Cyberspace Network Ltd has been licensed by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) to address different varieties of customer requirement in small, medium or large enterprise markets. The licenses granted them are as follows: * Value Added Network Services (VANS/ISP), * 3.5 GHz Fixed Wireless Access License, * Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), * WIMAX (Worldwide Interoperability Microwave Access) Solution.
Their foreign partners include: Cisco Networks Inc. USA, SES - Americom (Verester) Inc. USA, Comparex Africa of South Africa ,IP Planet Network Ltd, Tel-Aviv, Israel, Wavecom, and Arris Technology.
