India became the center of many debates few months ago, a gang rape which became famous all around the world thanks to the horror of this act that finished into the death of the victim.
On 16th December 2012, a 23 years old student went out with her boy Friend in South Dehli and decided to go back home by bus. The woman’s friend became suspicious when the bus took another way than it was used to. He asked the driver and the 6 men on board started talking to them, asking what they were doing alone at this late hour. Her friend tried to intervene but he was stopped, beaten, gagged, knocked unconscious with an iron rod by the gang. Then they decided to attack the young woman, they dragged her to the rear of the bus and used the same rod and raped her one by one; the driver was still driving. The worse in this story remain the fact that the bus met many checking points during the way and no one intervened in this gang raped. When the police came, the woman received an emergency treatment and was placed on mechanical ventilation. She had only 5% of her intestines left and had terrible damages.
