Having grit something many people acknowledge, and they look up to people that do have grit. College students are put under a lot of stress after moving off to college. One realizes that it is a completely different world out there. A college student has the responsibility to be on time, get the work done, and participate in college life. Being on time is a task that most people struggle with, whether or not it is legitimate or not. A college student must apply their selves to be on time every single day. It is there that friends are made. It is okay to have fun in college, but it cannot stand in the way of academics. Again, self discipline is a key factor. One must discipline themselves to get everything done before going out and living the college life. If one does not care about the academics part but only the activity part they will soon find themselves falling behind and possibly even dropping out. One must always go back to the question, “Why am I here?” the answer must be because there is a goal to be met, and there is a career to be built. If that is not the answer then something should be reconsidered. Going to college is definitely a privilege and should be taken seriously. Many people in this world are never given the opportunity to go to college and pursue a career. Being a college student is such an honor. One should accept it as it is, and they should fulfill every dream ever thought of. A college student is capable of achieving anything he/she puts their mind to. It might not always be easy, but in the end it will be completely worth

Yes, college is a very important academic institution in one’s life, mainly helping to determine a career that one will pursue for a long time after school. But there is so much more to college than the schoolwork. In fact this is a topic that I have spoken about recently, at a showcase at my high school over break. My old computer science teacher hosted a showcase for his students about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) careers featuring students in college or that have graduated from college, speaking about how college works along with classes and the STEM majors and careers. The main point I would try to convey to the students is to get involved with something right away, because if all you focus on is your schoolwork you are going to have a miserable time at college. However, using the hidden intellectualism of being social, you can make friends, join clubs, compete in sports, and things like that which can not only make you happier, but even help your academic studies. The art of being social can be quite difficult, and it truly is a form of hidden intellectualism, and you can clearly see who is good and who is not with it. And ironically enough in most scenarios the most book smart students are those who struggle most in social settings. Not that that holds true in all scenarios, but it is quite common. That right there…

In this amazingly well thought of essay i will discuss with you today of the series of actions that brought me to write this paper, the possible effects these actions might have on the accomplishment of the mission, and how to discourage and possibly stop such things from ever happening to me. The reason I am being subject to this time consuming, uninspired, and rather boring writing assignment is because I failed to be at the correct place of duty at the time appointed to me by my superiors. The story begins on the previous night before the great war known to many as “The Great Flu Battle of Monty Gym” like any other night it will start with a handsome young private he might be a tad on the short side and his chin might not be as squared as he’d like but handsome none the less, and his bad luck with the evil things known as alarm clocks ! As this young private gets off work just like any other day he scurries towards his den his manly cave of freedom, sweat, food, alcohol, and lotion known as his barracks room opening the door as he knows in his mind that now at last he is free from the clutches of the men referred to by the people as THE NCO’s for he knows this is a safe haven where as long as he knows not to make a single peep as Ann Frank once did long ago nothing can harm him with such horrible, wretched, evil weapons known as extra duty or some also known as “detail” but not everyone gets so lucky not everyone can escape alive for those unlucky bastards I applaud for when you so happen to see them again if by luck this is so. it is the look on their defeated eyes like windows towards the soul knowing they could be so lucky as to dine pig at the great halls of a place to some referred as The Taste Korean or maybe drinking slushies’ at The amazing Sonic, but that is not so for them and that is why I salute you my friends my comrades my brothers in arms ! Knowing the worst had passed the young private opening the door already…

There are serveral reason why one should not be late to class. One reason would be that if you are late to class you are then behind in maybe an assignment your teacher has given and she would have to go over it again with you which shows irresponsibility which is not very good for you and your school record. Learning to be on time to class helps you in the future when you plan to get a job and if you don't learn to master this it could cost you in loosing your job because have it for sure that your boss will not tolerate a late employee. Being on time to class may seem difficult but if you really know how to manage your time in the morning or in between class periods you will find yourself having absolutley no problem getting to class on time. If you are having difficulties in the morning, one day you can time yourself to see how much time you use up to get yourself ready. That way you know what time to get up so you have enough time to do whatever it is in morning without having to rush and end up once again being late. And this way you could even have time to chat with friends before class and show your teachers you really care about your education. You could also take some time the night before going to school to find the things you will need the next morning that way you don't waste time looking for lost shoes or a comb. Also something that I do personally is change the time on my clock ten minutes forward that way you trick yourself into believing it is later than it really is, it works trust…
