Imperialism In The Twentieth Century
In the twentieth century a tremendous war broke out and affected the entire world. This war began because of the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and his wife. After this Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. Germany, who was allied with Austria-Hungary, also declared war on Serbia. Russia had to declare war on Germany and Austria-Hungary because they were allied with Serbia. This was mostly caused by nationalism, militarism, and imperialism.

Nationalism is when you are proud of your country and think that it is better than other countries. Militarism is a desire for a country to maintain a strong military and be prepared to use it to protect their country. Imperialism is where a powerful nation controls one or more colonies. My thoughts
