The state of Wisconsin hates him for choosing Stanford instead of becoming a badger. That isn’t whom he is really up against. He is up against his mortal coil. He is carrying around so much luggage from his dad killing himself. He has to stop and embrace it instead of running away from it.
Plot: In the beginning he travels to a bunch of schools on visits for football. He goes to all the schools and decides he likes Stanford the best. He has to keep this secret for a while because ESPN is going to stream his announcement live on TV. During this time he becomes kind of mean to his friends and he loses some. He becomes really mad. On signing he picks up the Wisconsin hat, sets it down, and then picks up the Stanford hat. The state of Wisconsin begins to hate him and say really mean things to him. He then becomes kind of depressed and he is carrying around his mortal coil from his dad. He starts to drink and he gets caught. Then he gets suspended but still gets to run track.
Resolution: In the end though he turns out all right realizing he has to stop running away from his dad and just embrace him. He stops drinking and goes back to the person he was before and continues his life.
Connection: When he went on visits he wen into the stadiums and watched games. I have been to many college football games.

Some of Troy’s good qualities are that he is very athletic, and a very smart boy. He plays on a football team and is the best quarterback in the league. He also got all A’s on his report card. One of Troy’s bad qualities is that he never takes no for an answer. After the NFL star almost gets him arrested for coming to his home after he told him to stay away. Troy still pushes his door open just to prove that he can really predict the plays while they watched Monday night football on TV.…

Back in my high school years, one of my good friends, Anthony Wilkerson, had earned a full-ride scholarship to Stanford University, thanks to his solid GPA and superior skills on the football field. He had been on the bench for most of his freshman season, but this year, he was set to get more carries, more yards and, hopefully, more touchdowns. My girlfriend had a close friend, named Karen, who was accepted into the University of Southern California. Ever since she received her acceptance letter, Karen vowed to invite us to go see a game at the Coliseum with her. As fate would have it, that same year, Stanford and USC were set to square off in Los Angeles! It was as if the universe had aligned itself perfectly for me. The College Football Gods had sown the seeds and I was about to reap from the glorious harvest.…
