Humanities Vs. Humanities: The Contradistinction Branches Of Education
Precedently, I had assumed the separate subjects were contrastive, I had previously adopted this ideology because of the strong stigma concerning the two subjects. English was more well known for being a creative outlet and analyses more of a personal understanding while on the other hand, Humanities had been known more commonly for its fact-driven lessons and its focus on the reality of the state of the world and therefore, limiting the creative spectrum and holding back students. However, the minute I had entered the first lesson concerning the IDU I was in awe to how wrong I had been before. They had done this to take full control of the community and progress the community with little issues and objections. Humanities discussed the problems in society and with the giver in our heads from the previous lesson it was easier to perceive the information with open minds as it shows how particular types of government can actually work and be more beneficial for the people of the country. Through the knowledge acquired in humanities, I was able to accomplish the analysis of the giver and able to present on the subject in English for I understood how governing influenced the entire book and the income at the …show more content…
The IDU was a startup meaning it was all arranged and some things were out of place and needed time to be fixed or sorted out meaning what we took back from the lesson was not as much as it would have been otherwise in the seperate lessons. Another thing i found an issue is that we spent a lot of time on the IDU when we could have been learning other things which in my point of view, would have been better learning other concepts that may help us during the final exams. It will affect the study process as it takes a toll on the schedule since they are joined and I will have to study them joined which will mean remaking my study schedule which, hopefully, I will be able to get make into routine before the exams and finally, it may confuse us during the exams as information from the lessons might be added to the exams and you might write the information from the wrong lesson. This will especially be brought out in Criterion

    Imagine a world without color, pain, or feelings. It sounds terrible. The Giver is a book about a community that people in the community do not have to be worry about anything. In other words, they never experience the joy of life and success. Jonas’ community is a strict community to avoid negative emotions. However (TRANS), there are many things that citizens are not allowed to do by themselves. The purpose of this paragraph is to contrast the Jonas’ community to our community. First of all, in Jonas’ community everyone lives by the community’s rules. It means their food, their family, their decisions are chosen for them because they are under the community’s control. However, in our community people can make their own decisions and choose their favorite food to eat. Second, in Jonas’s community the Elders control the population. It means that kids are not raised in a house. Another difference is that when they turn twelve, the children are given a job assignment and start training (GER) for their job, and after that, they work more till they become a responsible adult.     After examining these very in-depth analysis essays, I attempted to find sections of the analysis that fell off topic and where sections didn’t incorporate themselves to the thesis. Also I looked at which of the authors concluded the essays appropriately and who connected all the information into the concluding paragraph. Both of these authors did incorporate details and colors of the artist’s work, but other factors had to be judged when thoroughly examining these essays.
