How would you help poor countries devel
How would you help poor countries develop?
To help poor countries you need to know what are you going to do first and helping a poor country is like helping a man who lives on an island with fishing rods, so if you give that man fish everyday he won't ever try to make his own food, instead you should teach him how to fish by himself, you are goanna see how are these to so familiar.

Natural resources, they are really important to develop you need to know what kind of natural resources the country have so you can help it develop, for example Ghana it has so many natural resources, but I know you are thinking if it did how come it's still poor, well because the U.K took them as colonies and called them their gold coast that's not the only reason also they have a lot of depts.to pay that’s why Ghana is still a LEDC.

Health care, health care is needed in a lot of LEDCs because they have so much disease coming out of bad weather or not enough food lets take Somali as an example they never had enough to eat, you can see their ribcages they have a very bad weather which is always hot and dry, so you help the country to be healthy by building hospitals, so they have the energy to develop.

Clean water, most of the LEDCs don’t have clean water access, they drink water with worms, mud, and cow poop but they still drink it because there is no other water sources, in Ghana it takes them like three hours to get the water and even after three hours they still get crabby water that is full of disease, so to help them develop we need to build some wells to have clean water so they don’t have to pay money for the illness that the unclean water caused. Education, is something that only 10% of LEDCs get, what is so important about education? The important thing about it is that you get educated , you get diploma, you get a job , you make money and help your country develop that’s how all MEDCs got developed, if you don’t count that they had colonies that worked instead of

Aid is really effective only when it is aligned with recipients' priorities and is predictable, and donors must make sure that aid does not create unreasonable administrative demands on recipients. Low-income countries, for their part, face significant challenges when aid rises. And they have to ensure that the capacity of their public services is not overstretched. They must also make sure that aid flows do not have unintended economic effects—large aid flows can result in an appreciation of a country's currency, making exports less competitive, or causing an increase in…

Whether in the form of money, training or education. One of the problems wealth nations have with providing aid is it may not get distribute to the people that really need it the most These global governments do not want an educated population for fear of the masses realizing what has been happening to them all their lives. Wealthy nations like to feel like what they are giving is making a difference, but in truth the poor do not see this money. The saying “the rich get richer while the poor get poorer” is an ominous cloud for the poor and it is starting to filter in to the middle class of society. The reality is wealthy countries do not want everyone to be on the same social or economically footing. This would disrupt the hierarchies that have been built up over the decades and the beginning of…

But it's when it actually comes time to do the fixing is when it starts to become hard. America, being the big brother that it is, tries to support smaller nations in times of need. Things we've done to combat the increase in poverty over the years has been something called the Borgen Project. What the Borgen project is, is notifying and giving people steps to help them fight off poverty. The Borgen have a 10 rule policy on how they feel fighting off poverty should be handled. “The first step in conquering any problem is acknowledging that there is one.” (http://tinyurl.com/gne2ta9). This statement is very true in all things. Other things that have been done has been organizations and fundraisers that send money or food or clothes to these countries. Some organizations that help out with this are local food pantries, CHA(Childrens hunger Aliance), Oxfam America, The hunger Project, etc. All these have spent years and years trying do something about this terrible problem in the world. Samaritans Purse is well known for creating the international “Operation Christmas Child”. What that is, is sending kids in poor countries christmas gifts that they couldn't receive normally. It is a religious organization which branches out into tons of different areas. Food pantries gather food from stores and give them out to families in need.…

Wouldn't anyone want help in a bad situation? Peter Singer brings up an excellent set of points. First, ”If we can prevent something bad without sacrificing anything of significant importance, we ought to do it.” Second, ”Absolute poverty is bad.” Third, ”There is absolute poverty we can prevent without sacrificing anything of moral significance.” In conclusion, “We ought to prevent some absolute poverty”(345). It makes perfect sense that if it doesn't cost us more than it's helping, we should help people who are not as lucky as us. It says in the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, that “Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person.” Being born into a life that…

I think we should give all types of aid. Immediate, developmental, and population control. Immediate aid should be given to feed the people to get them in a state of mind to be able to comprehend more complex things. If they are going to understand population control and developmental aid they need to be in a sound state of mind. I think developmental aid should be given, but it has to be a continued effort to develop the area. To teach them how to follow in our footsteps, we didn't start out poor either. We need to educate them and teach them how to establish and maintain a solid government, trade system and how to effectively use their resources. I think it's okay to invest in this type of aid because it's similar to college. There would be no business people if the weren't trained in some way to be effective business leaders. We need to teach these countries with our expertise how to develop their economies so they can become self sufficient. Also, population control should be given to help slow the hungry mouths. This will help the effectiveness of developing and allow for less immediate aid to be given. If there are less mouths to feed then there is more resources and money to be given to those already alive.…
