o The special opportunity I felt that I had this semester from this class is the service learning at the harvest table. This experience was humbling and eye opening. It can be hard to remember that there are so many people out there that are struggling financially. I could have these children in my class and not even know it. From this experience, I was able to interact with a few children and see that they are just as capable as any child. I think about the book that we read for this class as well when I think of this service learning experience.
