How to Make Sugar Cookies
Sweet Surprise

Do you like to eat sugar cookies? Do you want to try making them? Well I’m going to tell you a fun, relaxing way to make the tasty treats. Here are the steps on how to make sugar cookies.

First, you have to prepare the dough. Use an electric mixer to cream the butter and sugar in a bowl. Add the eggs, one by one, until they’re absorbed in the mixture. Put in vanilla extract keep on mixing until the batter is smooth. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into another bowl using a metal sleeve. Add dry ingredients into the batter, 1 cup at a time. Once all of the flour mixture has been blended into the batter, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours.

Secondly, you need to use the dough. Line your baking tray with parchment paper while you preheat your oven to 350˚F or 180˚C. Dust a clean surface with a little flour. Take the dough out of the fridge and roll it out onto the clean surface. Make the dough about 1/4” thick and cut out the cookies into shapes. Carefully peel away the cookies and put it onto your baking sheet. Brush each cookie with a little milk or if you want to decorate your cookies with frosting, do that.

Last but not least, you bake the cookies. Bake the cookies for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on their size. Make sure the cookies don’t burn. Set the cookies on a cooling rack for

a few minutes. Once they’re cooled, you can put the cookies in an airtight container or you can freeze them for later. You could also eat it right away!

So now you know how to go about a fun, relaxing way to make some tasty treats. You could enjoy for yourself or you could share them with family and friends and
