how to break up with someone
Almost everyone will have to break up with a girlfriend or boyfriend at some point in his or her life. Breaking up Is honestly a hard thing to do no matter what the situation. At some point in time, you found something special in this person that you are now going to have to get out of your life. Now these good times and special things must be bypassed, so you can do what’s best for you. An easy way to remember the tools you need Is to remember the Wizard of Oz, because all you need Is a heart and a brain. The first step to ending a relationship is to realize it is going nowhere. Realization is the most important step. After making this conclusion, you should know exactly what to do, Even if your heart may feel different. In addition, a person tends to fall out of love when they think of their future, with a specific man or woman. When you recognize the relationship is not going to lead up to a loving marriage, the smart side of you thinks of the next step, which is starting over without him or her in your life. This way of thinking also helps to console a broken heart after a breakup. The next step is to decide how to tell them. You can tell the person in many different ways, but you have to consider their feelings. This conversation can be very painful, and needs to be thought over. Try to let them know that at one point you cared for them dearly, and you still do but now It’s time to move on so you can better yourself. Of course that person is going to be hurt but that’s just how it goes. Just try to mend their heart with kind words, and everything should be fine. When ending a relationship, you should never try to end on bad terms, because that only causes more problems.

I advised both parties involved about the necessity for counseling. Letting them know that most couples come in to seek help when they feel that this is the last result before breaking up. It’s difficult to move forward in a relationship when anger and resentment have built up to such a degree that there are few conflict-free areas of discussion. Seeing a professional to help you talk to each other so you are not disagreeing on the smallest of things and arguing over the same situations with no resolutions, can be a very good idea.…

The next stage is something known as the dyadic processes ; this is where partners begin to talk with each other about the problems leading to the breakdown , sometimes this can result in reconciliation as the other partner accepts the validity of the dissatisfied partners views.( only if its constructive not destructive ) This stage could be seen as the make or break stage where issues are brought up like ' we need to stay together for the kids' or just a general believe that things don't have the capacity to change. The fourth stage in this model is social processes ; the break up is aired and made public to friends and family , generally , advice and support and sought from people outside the relationship and alliances are created (e.g. you can do better than her) .Also in this stage things are…

Relationships in and of themselves are complicated in many ways; they should be nurtured and maintained like flowers in a garden. You will need to be patient, kind and thoughtful. But more importantly know who you are and be aware of your self-concept “Today most researchers believe that who you think you are is a complex mix of how you see yourself; how others see you; what parents, teachers, and peers have told you about yourself; and what your society or culture tells you that you are or should be. Your self-concept is learned; it is organized, it is dynamic, and it is changeable” (Purkey, 1988) be open and LISTEN to what the other person is telling you. It will save a lot of time and you will shed fewer tears in the end.…
