How Does Sex Trafficking Affect Society
Often slavery is thought of as an issue of the past. Thank you for shedding light on this very substantial problem not only in American society but internationally. Sex Trafficking is a multi-faceted problem because it effects the victims socially, mentally, financially and there is a strong chance of victims also contracting and inadvertently spreading sexually transmitted infections. Sex trafficking requires a social worker to be extremely efficient so that their client can have the best chance at recovering. It is imperative that social workers and the public be aware of the TVPA act which you did great job of mentioning.
