World War I had many effects on every country especially the ones who were themselves involved in the war. We could possibly say most of the European countries were affected from this war. World War I started in 1914 and ended in 1918. World War I was the house of many European countries yet also Japan involved itself in a short period of time. World War One, being the most significant event in Europe in the 20th century, and possibly in the whole world's history, had a tremendous effect on British soldiers, society, and values, therefore making it the strong, powerful country it is today.
