The significant events that were occurring in America when the article of “The Study of Administration” were; embargo act was passed, and denied all business with foreign countries. It restricted American ships on navigating to foreign ports. That signified that all exports coming from the United States were illegal, and this had a negative impact on the American consumer pocket. In consequence, congress was forced to revoke the act. During this period of time, Americans didn't have the act of being represented like we have it today at local, state, and congress levels. The rules and regulations past during this era were for the benefit of the land instead of being of its people. On the year 1880s Americans were not interested in laws or regulations like we are today. Further, the population diversity was not as diverse as present days.
