How Can Wildfires Harm The Environment
Humans have many negative impacts on earth, but I chose one of the main ones that happen. Wildfires is part of nature. It plays a role in ecosystems by serving as a renewal change, but when it comes to where it is used purposely or to harm others, it can get out of control.

There are many reasons why it can be dangerous, it can spread,
Get sparks in your eyes, and most importantly it eats up oxygen.
First of all it can lead to extinction of many animals, it is already the reason why there are rarely any light gray peppered moths now.

Another reason why fire is dangerous is because it harms the environment by polluting the air with harmful black smoke, and it can also lead to loss of oxygen. The more fires there are the less oxygen we have, that is why it's hard to breathe when it comes to fire.

Sep. 4, 2013 — A recent study of one of California's most devastating wildland fires by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) strongly suggests that measures for reducing structural damage and property loss from wildland urban interface (WUI) fires are most effective when they are based on accurate assessments of exposure risks both for individual structures and the community as a whole.…

To begin with, fire originally comforted and warmed people. “…in the old days, before homes were completely fire proofed-,” (34). In the past, people used fire to cook or keep warm. Fire wasn’t always used to destroy homes that contained books. In fact homes were once completely fire proofed. Instead of setting fires, firemen were the ones who put them out. “…and so when houses were finally fire proofed completely all over the world, there was no longer a need of firemen for old purposes”, (58). There was a time when homes were all completely fire proofed. With that, there was no longer a need for them. Eventually firemen evolved from fire-fighters to “fire-starters”. They began to start fires in order to control the people. Fire was once a good thing in many people’s eyes.…

Let’s get back to the wildfires. Apparently, fire destroys a large area of forest and any houses that close to the forest. As a result, these people lost their homes, and animals lost their lives, ecological imbalance, trees, and plants burned down, which cause the animals live there no longer have food to eat. When the forest has fewer trees and plants, it produces less oxygen. Therefore, we will have less clean air to breathe. Furthermore, as large amounts of smoke are released into the air, it causes air pollution, and difficult for us to breathe. Besides, smoke and ash can cause serious health problems for people, such as damage the throat, and the lungs. We also face the loss of animals, which might create extinction for some animals and other creatures in the forest. Naturally, the wildfires are happened because of hot, and dry weathers make the forest more likely to burn. As it starts to burn, we can not recognize it until it becomes big. Therefore, we will not be able to extinguish it in time. And if there is a strong wind at this time, it will make the fire spread…

A bushfire is one that affects the environment in both good and bad ways. On one hand, the flame is beneficial to nature, for some plants utilize the conditions provided by the fire to germinate and while other plants that burn down have adapted to survive, as have the creatures that utilization them as a habitat. Despite the fact that bushfires still can have consequences for the environment including loss of widely varied vegetation and changes the atmosphere such as increased levels of CO2 in the air, the creation of large volumes of smoke and ash and localised change in…

One big effect of wildfires is the economic cost. Wildfires can burn timber, make it unappealing for tourism, and can affect the agricultural production. The post-disaster recovery can be very pricy depending on the area and the severity. The city has to spend millions on chemical, logistics, aircrafts, and trucks to help fight the fires. In the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire the initial insurance payouts were estimated as CAN$9 billion. The damage had estimated to reach $3.5 billion. This is a reason why it isn’t good to have wildfires.…

What are the effects of bushfires? As they rage through the bush, they can burn houses to the ground, ruin crops, farmland, destroy whole communities and businesses. Large fires can often take many lives, be it those of people who are trapped in burning buildings, from breathing in too much smoke, or animals, from loss of habitat or being unable to withstand such high temperatures. Not only are many lives claimed to the fire, but many of those who survive the disasters suffer bad or permanent injuries, loss of homes and personal possessions, loved ones, and can even suffer from mental illnesses such as depression from being unable to cope with the situation. Aside from the personal impacts, fires also largely impact Australia economically.…

A wildfire is any instance of uncontrolled burning in grasslands, brush, or woodlands. Wildfires destroy property and valuable natural resources, and may threaten the lives of people and animals. Wildfires can occur at any time of the year, but usually occur during hot, dry weather. Wildfires are usually signaled by dense smoke which may fill the air for miles around. The National Weather Service, U.S. Forest Service, and State forestry agencies combine to give wildfire probability forecasts. Local radio and television stations broadcast information and warnings on local fire conditions. Wildfires pose an increasing threat to the residential United States. In 1987, 53,000 fires consumed more than two million acres. By October 1988, almost 70,000 fires had claimed more than four million acres. The increase in fires is the result of population growth in rural communities and in the wild land and urban interface. Fire is a powerful, natural phenomenon (www.nps.gov/pub_aff/issues/fire.html, pg.3).…

Man-made causes probably do the most damage. There are many man-made causes. Pollution is one of the biggest man-made problems. Pollution comes in many shapes and sizes. Burning fossil fuels is one thing that causes pollution. Fossil fuels are fuels made of organic matter such as coal, or oil. When fossil fuels are burned they give off a green house gas called CO2. Also mining coal and oil allows methane to escape. How does it escape? Methane is naturally in the ground. When coal or oil is mined you have to dig up the earth a little. When you dig up the fossil fuels you dig up the methane as well.…

As the climate continues to change, scientists begin to study the shifting of the climate. Scientists are now more challenged because climate change does not just affect the ecosystem, but the human population as well. Having the environment rain for many days without the sun could greatly affect the environment as well. Many companies and certain individuals now are responsible for cutting too many trees that there is not enough energy to surface in the forest. Certain individuals are hunting animals for personal pleasure, and while hunting for animals some individuals abuse what is in the forest. Cutting down trees may seem like it does not cause any effect to the environment, but it greatly affects how the ecosystem operates. While trying to recycle is very effective and important in today’s society, not many agree. Cutting down trees to build personal use is also being abused. Building properties, roads, and other buildings also causes the climate change. Climate change also affects animals and plants in many ways. With the increase of individuals smoking contributes to the air pollution which greatly causes health problems to many individuals. “While gradual climate change affords society time to implement economically efficient…
