Why is hospitality and tourism considered one of the biggest industries in the world?
At present, with the further development of economic globalization and world economic integration, the tourism and hospitality industry have entered the golden age of rapid development. In the early 1990s, tourism and hospitality have become the world 's largest industry which surpassed the oil industry and the automobile industry.
World tourism organisation expects international tourism prospects continue to look good, the number of global tourists will reach 1.9 billion in 2006, the total revenue will reach $5 trillion. According to the survey of the world tourism organization, both industrialized countries and developing countries, tourism and hospitality as the economic pillar position will not change.

World entry passengers in 1950 to 25.2 million, 218 million visitors in 1976, increased to 7.6 times. According to the world tourism organization estimates that in 1977, the number of world people up to 245 million, tourism income was about $50 billion (about a 3 to 4% of world trade and labor income), is one of the foreign exchange income which increases quickly.
