Honor Code In High School

Students surveyed at a college level acknowledged, at least, one incident where they take part in questionable behavior throughout their academic years(McCabe and Pavela). These questionable behaviors likely started in high school where honor codes have little to no effect on students because either, the school does not enforce their honor code, or the school did not establish one. By not establishing an honor code in high school, bad academic behaviors form in the hand of plagiarizing and cheating. In other words, there are no rules to obey when taking test or quizzes, and that allows students to be academically dishonest. Therefore, by establishing an honor code directed toward the students, each student must pledge that the work provided
