Hindman High School Job Analysis
Over the past several years I have worked as a substitute at Hindman Elementary. During that time I have filled a variety of positions, giving me the chance to become very well aquatinted with both the staff and the layout of the school. i was given the opportunity to work in the office quite frequently last school year, so much so, that I was given my own log in for the school's Infinite Campus, with limited access. From my substitute experience I know the daily routine of the school and have learned how to do a few things in the office such as, using the intercom, fax, and taking and transferring calls. Conducting a job analysis provides knowledge of capabilities to the individual interested in the profession and the organization that is interested in hiring the individual. If the desired profession is to be a residential therapist, it would require the right personality and skill set for the job. A residential therapist skill set would need to provide to a broad range of services because the job requires to work directly with individuals, families couples and groups in a variety of settings, such as mental health clinics, private practice, hospitals and schools. The residential therapist would be to treat psychological problems, resolve conflicts, reduce stress and promote mental health. Some clinical psychologists may also be involved in teaching at the colleges or universities level. A person who chooses to work in this filed would require a well-rounded personality with strong ethics and a desire to help people who are in need.
