Hillcrest High School Case Study

Imagine starting off high school where there were no sports, clubs or activities. This was the case for Hillcrest high school, in Riverside, California. It was recently opened in 2012 and just had its first graduating class, the class of 2016. The students in the class of 2016, did not have a normal high school experience whatsoever. They had to fight for many things to happen that happen at most high schools. Like, getting all the clubs, sports, classes and other activities that they wanted. When this high school opened in 2012, it was only for 9th - grade students.
