High Performance Analysis
Being a nurse for this many years, the term ‘high performance’ is not something new to my ears. I had heard this terms many times but honestly, I did not knew how much weight it carries in healthcare organization. In this paper I am horned to have the opportunity to explore and gain the understanding of this term and discover exactly what does it mean? According to Thompson (2007), in order to appreciate what high performances are, we got to recognize the standards of goals and objectives of the organization as one piece. This statement is an eye opening for me as now I understand that organization goals and objectives are used to lead operationally. According to Buchbinder & Shanks (2012), in order to understand performance, we got to be grateful for the value of setting and …show more content…
The strategies goals are achieved to show the employees how their contribution and performances can donate to overall organization outcome. The organization that I am currently working with had set a high standard of goals and objectives. The hospital vision and mission had clearly stated that, we would delivery beyond our customers’ expectation. The organizations goals are to ensure our customers are satisfied with the service and they are delivered with above their expectation services.
Researchers had identified that, good infrastructure are crucial for sustaining high performance. The infrastructure elements are including meaningful strategies and inspired vision implemented by a consistent leadership. It also includes a dedicated structure for quality and constant feedback to the employees. However, attaining the highest levels of performance is not an overnight effort. For the whole system to transform requires time, changing cultures and redesigning processes.
