A Need For Healthier School Lunches
It has been proven that school cafeteria lunches have lower quality meat than McDonald’s food. In addition to their unappetizing taste and low-nutritional content, these lunches provide little energy, and children rarely finish at least half of their tray. Students are often given a inadequate variety to choose from, and are usually forced to eat something unappealing to them. Communities are to take action on this matter before their children develop long-term health issues as a result. I argue, however, that public school cafeterias give children food that is detrimental to their health.
