Health Science Career Research Paper

My main interest has been science since 5th grade all the way throughout high school. I believe I should go into a career which is related to the sciences due to my high interest in the sciences. My goal is primarily to go into the health field because I have had a greater interest in science and since high school health science. If I were to have more exposure to health science I would have more information and more ideas of what I should specifically do in the health field. Additionally, I have gone through my own struggles and illnesses to want to pursue a career in the health field. Most importantly I would love to impact people's lives for the best, I love helping people it has always filled a happy spot in my heart. My main two career ideas include a Nurse Practitioner (Pediatrics) and a Pediatrician because I believe the main focus in a person’s lifetime is in their childhood and teenage years. I was hoping to get accepted into MC and talk to a counselor to guide me to make the best decision.

I would have loved to been admitted into the Health Science Education class as I registered 8th-grade year but unfortunately I did not get in to begin my studies in the health sciences early. As the end of Freshman year was approaching I witnessed everyone else being pulled out
I felt more comfortable because the counselors were more friendly and tried to give me classes I actually wanted. Due to the fact that I was a transfer student I couldn’t get into all the classes I wanted because they were already full. Although, I got into Early Childhood Education as I had put on my schedule request form, which I was really grateful because I was able to be with the daycare at the school and I learned a more about children.
