Annie Leibovitz Photography has drastically changed since the start of this great phenomenon because of all the new advancements with technology. One modern photographer by the name of Annie Leibovitz has transformed the perspective of the audience to recognize these artist abilities. Photographers begin with some inspiration that allows them to create their work, progress to use techniques throughout their photography, and experiment with the techniques that they mastered in order to create a stunning success.

At such a young age of 23 years old, Annie began this position that she would hold onto for ten years. In 1974, when the magazine began printing in color she has to learn to work with color and lighting because in school she was only taught to work with black and white. Within these ten years she had many opportunities including, traveling with The Rolling Stones band on their international tour as the official photographer in 1975 as well as take the famous picture of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1980. The photograph of John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono consisted of Lennon being nude curled around Ono was taken just a couple hours before his death; the photo cover became a famous collector’s item. At the Rolling Stone magazine Annie learned how to work with the bold color and odd poses that eventually became her primary techniques. After leaving the Rolling Stone magazine Annie Leibovitz started working for Vanity Fair in 1983. Her clientele grew to working with more celebrities, public figures, and presidents.
