Graduation Speech: We Shall Fight On The Beaches

Fellow military soldiers, we gather on this fine day before the start of what Mr. President states will be a short win for this great country. Winston Churchill, a great leader of Britain during The Second World War. One of his adventures include getting captured by the Boers, then a daring escape thru a bathroom window. This made Churchill a celebrity and hero to Britain. He states during a speech from The Second World War what I am trying to summarizing to the brave men and women in front of me with, “We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.” I need for all of you to defend our island. I need for all of you to fight on the beaches. I need for all of you to fight on the landing grounds. I
If you don’t, that’s probably why you are in the military, ha-ha just joking. This is a story that has stood the test of time, and will continue to live on for centuries. But why has it stood the test of time? The question I ask is the reason for the reason why I stand before you. We are the Greeks in the story. We will out smart our opponent! We will be stunning and be remembered by our enemy! We will leave our mark on this world for the time we are here! We will make this war live in the stories told from generation to generation! We will triumph to victory! We will crush them from inside there city walls! We will win! For war is never ending. And I hope in a thousand lifetimes, they look at the accomplishments of the fellow brave warriors before them and follow in the footsteps of the great men and women I gaze upon right now. For words can only do so much to the memory of life, it’s the actions one does to help the population. We leave today with the words of a wise philosopher, Plato: “Only the dead have seen the end of
