PROOF OF RESIDENCY and LAWFUL PRESENCE:

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia requires that any student applying to Georgia State University provide verification of their lawful presence in the U.S. before their admission can be finalized. A Citizenship Verification hold preventing registration will be placed until lawful presence is verified. For instructions on getting the hold removed, please visit the Citizenship Verification page. http://www.gsu.edu/admissions/lawful_presence.html New and reentry students should send a scanned copy to jkane3@gsu.edu of either their
U.S. passport or a GA driver’s license if issued Jan 1, 2008 to current. These documents should not be expired. A hold will be placed on your registration until proof is provided.
The hold will take 24 hours to be released.

PAYROLL

Please remember that you will not receive your first monthly stipend check until the end of the first month after classes start. Please be sure to bring enough funds to last you through the first two months.
