Gm Factual Analysis Paper
One placed that I worked as a contract employee, was GM (General Motors), that had an established culture that showed through many of its organizational facets. I worked in an engineering lab as an emissions laboratory technician and tested all makes and models of vehicles emissions gasses in order to correlate with the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to meet cleaner gas emissions standards emitted from vehicles. I will discuss five signs that represent the culture that has been created throughout GM.

Mission Statement

Bullying, sexual harassment, and any other type of unfair treatment is absolutely unacceptable and will be detrimental to ones’ career if adhered to. According to GM’s Winning with Integrity Policy, which is thoroughly explained and tested on during the onboard process. “Winning with Integrity, GM's Code of Conduct, reinforces our commitment to a work environment founded on mutual respect, trust and accountability”. The many policies in Winning with Integrity support the respectful work environment that GM has established as part of their policy. This demonstrates a performance as well as a communication orientated culture where the latest innovations in automotive are displayed and customer, employees, as well as stakeholders can witness them and ask representatives questions that they might have regarding GM’s

These are two different types of harassments that go on in the work place but they can both happen to you.
