As the brand managers for a subset of Allstar Brands we are tasked with figuring out the most lucrative way we are going to enter the Latin American market in a ten-year period. We are selling Allsmile brand toothpaste, in various SKU’s to best satisfy the demand in each country. We first analyzed each country focusing on unemployment rate, poverty rate, size of population, and quality of water. After analyzing each country we decided to enter Brazil first because it has the highest population, high unemployment rate, and a moderate poverty rate for the region. We also decided to base our manufacturing plant in Brazil because there are no tariffs when producing and selling and because of its central location to other Latin American countries we are entering in the future. When we entered Brazil in years 1 and 2 we produced 3 different SKU’s, had only 1 advertisement, and sold through traditional and hypermarkets. We quickly realized we needed to advertise more and add another SKU and advertised each SKU individually.…

The first distinctive difference between Saudi Arabia and United States educational systems can be found in the language and the fees of the courses. As English is the mother language in United States, the educational system utilizes English language in teaching; yet, in Saudi Arabia, both Arabic and English are used in teaching. Arabic is considered the mother language and English is the language used in business communication. The other point is that education is free in Saudi Arabia and every student in college or university receives monthly stipend from the government as a reward for being a college or university student. On other hand, American students must pay tuitions for their education. Also, they do not receive monthly stipend. However, the government provides student loans to help students in need get education. Saudi students must decide their major from the first year of study. Consequently, they do not have the right to choose elective classes as they are forced to take subjects related to their majors. Because Americans have the right to choose elective courses they want to study, they can major in the third or fourth year of study.…

It seems ambiguous whether the Kindle Fire can be categorized as a tablet or e-reader. Nowadays, these two terms are looking and performing quite similarly thus making it difficult to tell them apart. There are some important differences between the two that will prove useful in making this distinction. The first is screen size as the Kindle Fire has a 7-ich screen, which is consistent with most other e-readers. Another key differentiator is the software in each product; the i-Pad runs on the iOS, which has extensive online stores that have thousands of apps. They allow for a lot of options when you can have the option to download a second web browser outside of the one pre-installed. The Kindle Fire runs a special proprietary version of Android owned by Amazon with fewer features and available apps.…
