George Washington There are many fascinating people who played a vital role in US history. A name that will always remain bright among these people is George Washington. He was born in Virginia in 1732. George Washington was the first president of the United States. Before he became a president, he had served as commander-in-chief during the Revolutionary War. His outstanding is not only because he was the first president of the United States, but also due to his leadership qualities he was admired for. Washington was able to achieve some of his goals because of the policies and beliefs he followed in his life. Fraction is the main factor for destroying nations. It makes people fight instead of developing their country. When George Washington was elected, he knew that fraction was a problem that should be solved immediately. He saw people fighting and blaming each other. Political parties were a result of these conflicts. Eventually, people became divided and sectarians. When a country is still young, it should avoid being involved in other countries' problems. Intervening in other countries' wars and conflicts would only drag a huge chaos to the country. During the French Revolutionary Wars, George Washington had avoided the involvement in the disputes between France and Britain. He chose to take the position of neutrality (Wikimedia Foundation). Not only will involvement bring wars to the country, but also it will cause a huge loss. Being in a war means that the country needs to provide the essential supplies, such as money, soldiers, and weapons. Instead of this waste of money, the government could avoid the unnecessary wars by not being engaged in any conflicts between others and spend the money on local
