On the contrary to that belief I feel inclined to inform you, that George Washington was definitely not the first President of America.     No other presidents accomplishments can compare to the fact he was the greatest founder of the United Sates. The most noteworthy accomplishment is that he was the Commander in Chief of the Continental Army. Though no major and glorious battles were won, knowing full well the colonies were at a disadvantage, he strategically waited out the war making it to cost effective for Britain to continue while also eventually gaining Frances aid.
