It is the ongoing study of the entire human genetic material. The human genome project has given the world discoveries of new ways to defeat the symptoms from poor health, advances in the field of agriculture, and the use of genetically modified organisms. As one may know, food is a very important part in an individual’s life, and is abundant here in the United

Some individuals may say that this famine issue could be alleviated by turning to the production of genetically modified organisms. Others may say that the genetically modified organisms outbreak will cause many issues not only in health, but in society as well. Genetically modified organisms can be plants or animals whose characteristics have been changed by the injection of a modified gene or a gene from another organism using genetic engineering. Over the years, there has been an ongoing dispute on whether GMOs are a good innovation or not. For example, people favoring GMOs would tell individuals that genetically modified organisms would help solve the world hunger problem and give the possibility of new vaccines. On the other hand, those individuals against GMOs would tell that these organisms have the possibility to cause many new diseases and risk human health.
