Genesis 1-3

This is the book of beginnings. The origin of all things begins in chapters 1 and 2. The heavens and the Earth, the animals and man and all of creation is formed by the hand of God. The first human, Adam, is put in garden, Eden without a mate and given the job of naming all the animals. In naming all the animals he finds that they all have mates but he doesn't. God then puts him to sleep to remove on of his ribs and form him a mate, Eve. She falls for temptation of Satan, the serpent, to desire to be wise as God and take the forbidden fruit. She gives the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil to her husband with her, Adam who takes and they realize they have been tricked and now they know good and evil and have began the dying process phyically and have died spiritually by eternal separation from the creator, God.
God comes calling and they begin the blame game. Adam blames Eve, Eve blames the serpent and punishment is given to each of them. The are driven from the garden to till the ground and live by the sweat of their brows. As they depart from the garden, God makes them coats from animal skins to replace the fig leaves that they are using to cover themselves. Most believe this is where animal sacrifice was instituted. God places high ranked angels called Seriphiums to guard the garden so that the couple will never be able to return to the garden. This will prevent the couple from taking the fruit of the tree of Life which would cause them to live forever in the sinful state they have become. God makes a promise that he will send a redeemer to buy them back from the sinful state they are in and that is the messiah, Jesus
